The Manta Ray Ballet
One of the main reasons divers love Nusa Penida is to witness the mesmerizing dance of the manta rays. These gentle giants, with wingspans that can exceed 5 meters gracefully glide through the crystal-clear waters. The nutrient-rich currents around Nusa Penida attract plankton, the primary food source for mantas, creating a haven for these magnificent creatures.
Manta Point: The Epitome of Manta Magic
Manta Point is the go-to spot for manta ray encounters. An important part of the life of the mantas revolves around “cleaning stations”. Here, manta rays wait their turn until they can be cleaned. Wrasses and other small fish are always ready to remove dead skin and parasites from those giants. This dive site is aptly named, as it guarantees a front-row seat to the manta ray ballet. Divers can often spot multiple mantas gracefully somersaulting and soaring through the water. Don’t forget your camera because this is a spectacle you’ll want to capture.

Crystal Bay: The Mola Mola Hangout
Crystal Bay is renowned for mola mola sightings. These giant fish can be found here, especially during the warmer months when the water gets really cold. Divers should be prepared for a thrilling adventure as they seek out these mysterious ocean dwellers. Experienced divers will make amazing pictures when the mola mola comes to shallower water to be cleaned up by bannerfish.

Before photos were average but after 1 full day of training the quality and level of interest in her Makro photos improved to a absolute "I love to see her photos level. After being back in Bali I told her to do another training and it was worth it as well. Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Passionné, à l'écoute, pédagogue, réactif, il s'applique à personnaliser la théorie et la pratique selon les demandes et besoins, et transmet copieusement son savoir et ses techniques (et même des photos bonus en plus =)). Le tout dans une ambiance parfaite. Je conseille de faire plusieurs jours à ses côtés afin de pouvoir pleinement profiter de l'apprentissage et parvenir à une bonne maîtrise durable pour votre pratique, photo comme vidéo.
